Panchayat Roll-2018 to be publish on January 20 | KNO

RAJOURI, JANUARY 19 (KNO) : District Panchayat Election Officer Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary today informed that final Panchayat Roll-2018 will be published tomorrow on 20th of January, 2018 as per schedule intimated by Election Authority (Panchayat Raj Act, 1989) . All the Electoral Roll Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Roll Registration Officers have been directed to publish final Roll at their offices. Also concerned VLWs/GRS/MPWs will also publish roll at Panchayat Ghars/Headquarters. District Panchayat Election Officer has appealed the public to check Panchayat Roll of their respective Panchayat Halqa/Panchayat Constituency. They can contact their concerned Electoral Registration Officer, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (BDOs) for any discrepancy in electoral roll. He further said that all the objections regarding Panchayat Roll will be verified and appropriate action will be taken in continuous updation of Electoral Roll.(KNO)
